Park Admission Terms

TAN'S ESTATE PAYMENT POLICY

Effective Date: [1st February 2025]

1. Payment Methods

a. Tan’s Estate accepts the following payment methods:

  • Bank transfers to PT TANAYA PESONA BATUR (Mandiri: 1450016949154 / BCA: 7445688568)
  • Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, JCB)
  • Digital wallets (as available via sales channels)
  • Partnered third-party platforms (e.g., Traveloka, Trip.com)

b. All payments must be made in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR). Exchange rates may apply for foreign transactions.

2. Payment Terms

a. Full payment is required at the time of booking. Reservations are confirmed only after successful payment.

b. For group bookings or corporate events, installment options may be available upon request.

3. Refund & Cancellation Policy

Tan’s Estate has a NO REFUND policy. Once a booking is confirmed, it is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Exceptions apply only in the following cases:

  • Force majeure (natural disasters, government restrictions, etc.)
  • Medical emergencies (valid documentation required)
  • Special cases, subject to management review upon submission of a Refund Request Form

4. Payment Security & Fraud Prevention

a. Payments made through third-party platforms (e.g., Traveloka, GlobalTix) are subject to their respective policies.

b. Tan’s Estate reserves the right to cancel suspicious transactions or request additional verification for fraud prevention.

5. Additional Charges & Taxes

a. Prices include applicable service charges and local taxes, unless stated otherwise.

b. Additional transaction fees may apply for payments via certain methods (e.g., credit card surcharges).

6. Dispute Resolution

a. Any disputes regarding payments must be submitted in writing to Tan’s Estate’s customer service within 7 days of the transaction.

b. Tan’s Estate will review disputes on a case-by-case basis and issue a resolution based on our terms and conditions.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

  1. General Policy

    Tan’s Estate maintains a strict no-refund policy, except under specific conditions outlined below. Management reserves the absolute discretion to approve or decline refund and reschedule requests.

    By purchasing tickets or services through our official channels—whether online or over the counter—you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to all applicable terms and conditions.

  2. Exceptions
    Refunds, Reschedule Cancellations may be considered only under the following circumstances:
    a. Force Majeure - Inclement Weather, Natural disasters, government restrictions, or other uncontrollable events preventing service delivery.
    b. Medical Emergencies: Guests experiencing unforeseen medical issues can request a refund by providing valid medical documentation.
    c. Other Urgent Matters: Handled on a case-by-case basis upon submission of a refund request form.
  3. Refund Request Process
    a. Submission: Guests must complete the Refund Request Form within 7 days of the scheduled service date.
    b. Review: Requests are evaluated within 14 business days.
    c. Outcome: Guests will be notified via email about the decision.
  4. Third-Party Bookings

    This policy applies to all bookings, including those made via Traveloka, Kkday, Tiket.com, Trip, and Ctrip. Guests who booked through these platforms must initiate refund requests directly through the respective platform’s customer service.

Welcome to Tan’s Estate at Batur Geopark - Last Update: 11th February 2025.

We are committed to developing Bali’s nature preserves towards a green economy based on cultural and natural heritage. As such, we believe everybody wins when nature is respected and protected.

To ensure a safe, orderly, and enjoyable experience for all visitors, the following Park Admission Terms apply to everyone visiting Tan’s Estate, regardless of your booking channel.

This regulation is enacted and enforced by the Park & Port Authority, a department of PT Tanaya Pesona Batur.

LEGAL BASIS & PRINCIPLES

This Park Admission Terms is established in accordance with:

National laws and regulations governing the utilization of Taman Wisata Alam (TWA).

Governor Regulation of Bali (Pergub Bali) No. 10/2011, which prohibits smoking in public areas.

Local customs and traditions that uphold respect for Bali’s cultural and spiritual sites.

The principles that guide our park management include:

1.Orderliness – Ensuring smooth operations and visitor experience.

2.Safety – Minimizing risks and enforcing emergency protocols.

3.Comfort – Maintaining a clean, welcoming, and respectful atmosphere.

4.Environmental Responsibility – Preserving nature through sustainable tourism practices.

GENERAL PARK REGULATIONS

By entering Tan’s Estate at Batur Geopark, you agree to abide by the following rules:

1. Respect for Nature & Culture

✅ Follow all regulations applicable to a Taman Wisata Alam (TWA).

✅ Do not disturb or damage natural and cultural sites.

✅ Always stay on designated pathways and respect restricted areas.

2. Public Order & Safety

🚫 Smoking is strictly prohibited in all public areas, as per Pergub Bali No. 10/2011.

🚫 Possession or use of dangerous substances (firearms, explosives, narcotics) is strictly forbidden.

🚫 Loud disturbances, fighting, or any form of public nuisance will not be tolerated.

3. Cleanliness & Waste Management

✅ Dispose of waste responsibly—use designated bins.

✅ Single-use plastics are discouraged in our conservation area.

4. Commercial & Unauthorized Activities

🚫 Commercial activities, photography, filming, and events require prior authorization.

🚫 Unauthorized vendors, soliciting, and distribution of materials are not permitted.

5. Compliance with Emergency Procedures

✅ Visitors must comply with emergency protocols and evacuation procedures as directed by park authorities.

ENFORCEMENT & PENALTIES

Non-compliance with these regulations may result in:

Verbal or written warnings

Fines or administrative penalties

Eviction from the premises without refund

Legal action and reporting to authorities for serious violations

The Park & Port Authority reserves the right to deny entry or remove visitors who fail to comply with these terms.

FINAL PROVISIONS

This Park Admission Terms is enacted and enforced as an official guideline for all visitors of Tan’s Estate at Batur Geopark, ensuring a sustainable and enjoyable experience for everyone.
